Snow City is still the same...just like the 1st time I went 5 years ago in Sec 2. :) The slope for sliding has not changed. We sat on the tyre and came tumbling down in a chain..:D The idiotic snowman is still there...It was a frantic attack of the students against me..They aimed my eyes and nose till I felt as though my nose was going to come off anytime :x Those kids deserve to be strangled..if I suffer from frostbite..haha. We learnt to make DIY Ice-cream with thick cream milk and sugar + vanilla essence. Quite interesting. :) Liquid nitrogen, with its B.P of -196 degree celsius, was used to "freeze" the ice-cream.
Went to the hydroponics farm as well...seemed like an organic chem lesson all over again. I wonder if the kids could understand minerals like potassium, calcium and phosphorus..heh. Bought a few packets of organic tomatoes! (I realised I can't live without tomatoes now..)
Lunch meet-up with my other 3 teaching scholars was quite interesting..Had Wanton mee at Bugis, followed by dessert. :) Then I went to work at SR again. Evening shift on a Saturday is crazy! :( Every second, it seemed to be full house and long streams of people queue outside.
Man1: "Hmm..so can you tell me the secret recipe?" (laughs cheekily) Me: "If I knew, I wouldn't be here." -smiles-
Man2: "Hey, get me THAT thing..U know it, that thing." Manager: -grins- "So what do u need, sir?" Man2: "I'm sure u know what I'm talking about." Manager: (gives an I-know-it look) Manager: "Yun Li, go over and get this Sir the menu." (saunters off) Me: (passes the menu to Man2) Man2: "hey! I know I've got a huge tummy but I don't need more food to fill it..Get me the BILL please lah" Me: ...
(The above incident has happened many times. The manager pretends that he knows everything and sabotage me like that: Especially when the customers ain't ready to take orders, he orders me to do so.)
Of course, the unhappiness dissipated when it neared the closing hours. There were 2 groups of people who simply refused to leave after 11pm! :/ goodness. I was sweeping right in front of them..and no one got the hint.haha. After all the clearing up (I will never do Saturday evening shift again..it's really mad), I bought 2 cakes at 20% discount (staff price). Choc indulgence is just too nice! :P

It's not that chocolates are a substitute for love. Love is a substitute for chocolate. Chocolate is, let's face it, far more reliable than a man. ~Miranda Ingram
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!
"There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who love chocolate, and communists."
