I'm here blogging on this last day of the June Holidays before the start of Block Tests 2. Hmm..just experienced a miraculous recovery from a 39 degree C fever the previous morning. =/ It has always been the case whereby I endured all forms of illnesses till the last few days of the holidays..and then all hell broke loose. I was guilt-ridden for the past 2 days when my elder brother "enthusiastically" shoved me a pair of scissors while he sat in front of the television watching "A New Life" on Channel 8. I was supposed to help him "shred" off the excess bulging layer of his hair at the 2 sides, such that his hair would not bulge out of his commando cap (or whatever that you call it) at NDP. At that point of time, I thought to myself that his layer of hair was already so thin..it would be funny if I continued cutting it. So..with full assurance from my brother that he won't blame me should anything go wrong..I proceeded with the "styling" as time wasrunning out before he set off for camp the next morning. I was enjoying the bits of cutting here and there on his head when I suddenly realised I had cut too much at a certain area of the right side of his head..such that a barren "hole" was vividly visible.. Well..you could guess what his reaction was..He stared at the mirror the whole night and tried all means to cover up the "hole". (But to no avail of course..Guess I was simply too superior in my cutting.) Throughout that whole night..I couldn't bring myself to face him as he would start grumbling..."wah lao....."
Haha. Last night he came back with a much balanced cropped hairstyle. He went to the barber! He should have gone there to seek professional "treatment" earlier. I'm not saying that my cutting style is terrible..but just that there's still some room for improvement. Sigh! It was quite a hilarious night coupled with a tinge of sadness..
