Simply because I've finally realised that feuds between siblings never last.
That was a happy realisation. Indeed.
It all started from an expired insect repellant which was supposed to be sprayed on the skin surface. That day was one of those days where dengue fever was on the rage and we had to be extra vigilant when dealing with those flying bugs. So out of kindness, my younger brother went to get that insect repellant and started spraying around.
I wonder if it was because of an accumulation of stress or was it something else. I flared up and scolded him for spraying something that hasn't been in use for many many years. And then we were both angry with each other. Silly isn't it? It lasted for more than 2 weeks.
Until...The day when his PSLE was over and we celebrated his 12th birthday. The cake was filled with lots of figurines.
He told me that was the best birthday he ever had. Then I realised, when someone close to you feels happy, you feel the same too.
