This class outing held yesterday was attended by 12 out of 26 classmates. haha. Nevertheless, i'm rating it 8/10! =) Was rather early in the morning when I reached Harbourfront station platform. Sat there and waited for the time to pass. Doors of the MRT opened. Everyone rushed out like swarms of bees. People on the escalators were fervently trying to fly down towards the MRT, pushing and tugging vehemently. I sat there for some time and observed the happenings. It's so intriguing just seeing how people can turn heartless vying for the best seats and racing against time. Everyone had a stoic expression on their faces, not a single one bothered to care if anyone fell down admist the tussle. Their eyes were geared towards a common direction. Some moments later, CS came down to join me and we were indeed the first to reach the control station. Bumped into S71 there and learnt that they were going for a "class outing" as well. =) Anyway..the day started out rather fine at Palawan Beach..one of the more isolated and quieter beaches among the 3 in Sentosa. For a start, we tried playing volleyball. haha and the sand's heat was killing us. Then we proceeded with the monkey ball game and had lots of fun! The blue waters were cooling and soothing to the touch. Went to cross the "rocky bridge" with Powrabbit and company..was reminded of the days in ChengDu when we crossed this really shaky bridge where Jaspar and Wilson were rocking the bridge violently. =) Reached the top of the tower which overlooked a scenic view. After lunch, we set off to Siloso Beach which was supposed to be more happening and filled with more activities. We settled down for "Animal Encounters" which was quite entertaining. Lots of Caucasians bared their bodies for sun-tanning. That's when we realise the locals are beginning to grow less conservative too. The most exciting part of the outing was when we went KAYAKING! Yay! I love it! Haha. Paired with Lowlow, pow with CS and Mingming with Jaspar! We were practically "allying" with each other to attack the other kayaks. Ha..Jas's kayak capsized quite a few times (guess he's too heavy such that the water seeped in.poor mingming.haha) We were quite envious of the solo kayaks as it was more manageable and lighter..but it was too exp..$8/hr..Though the area for kayaking was quite limited...the fun was simply overwhelming! Some of the girls went cycling while hoo and pork were strolling at the beach. =) Packed off at around 4.30pm and headed to Harbourfront centre for dinner! Yep..the day was tiring. Yet it was one of the most memorable class outings ever.
