I'm starting to feel that life during the June Holidays is quite a bore...part-time teaching at the tuition centre, though satisfying, is beginning to mare its ugly head. I didn't realise that until Shereen started sharing so much. ^_^ After all...I've only been hopping around there twice a week for the past 5 months and usually I'm there after 6pm..so the politics would have ended.
Politics lie everywhere, whether it's in the bustling city, a cranky office or simply an education-driven tuition centre. After all, no one can be an ultra "goody-goody two shoe". The Speech and Drama class isn't going to commence due to the low enrolment...so why does he still have to press us for the worksheets?! And the dateline is 1 June! Considering the fact that we are all first-timers in drafting them. And S claims: Why doesn't he give us OT pay? Otherwise he can do it himself since it's THEIR tuition centre? They are just trying to scrimp and save so much that it takes a toll on the staff.
Nevertheless, on a happier note: The "little rabbits" (P1 kids) brightened my day! They gave me a new nickname: Rabbit Teacher.. and the P6 students called me Miss Pancake...well.......
Surprisingly, I realised that Joseph is actually one of the receipients of the EMS. :) So I will be seeing him at the OBS course in July as well as the Award Presentation Ceremony in August. Teaching both History and Maths sounds weird though..
Hmm..In view of my busy schedule in July, I've finally decided to tour Yunnan or Shanghai in late June..when school starts for everyone. :)

It's not that chocolates are a substitute for love. Love is a substitute for chocolate. Chocolate is, let's face it, far more reliable than a man. ~Miranda Ingram
