I was just tidying up my little room when I realised this little rectangular space has been housing so much rubbish! It was after Pork and XY came to my house that morning when I felt I had to do something about it..haha. -grins- Think it looks like a pig's sty. Was totally elated while I was dumping all the Newsweek and past Times worksheets into the garbage bag. What a sense of satisfaction. =) These stacks of worksheets have created a huge pile on my bed and after they were cleared, the rubbish was gone by more than half the original size.. I was flipping through the Anderson 2003 Year Book too. That was when I stumbled onto the Guest of Honour's page for Speech Day---Miss Diana Young, CEO of Aerospace com. Such a young entrepreneur, such a short life. I couldn't really bring myself to believe that she died in a car accident a year ago when in fact, I talked to her personally in 2003. A mere look at the photo and the fragility of life daunts upon me. At that point of time, she couldn't possibly know that her life was to end the following year. Such a pity. Such a talent. Well, I suppose capable people usually live a shorter life. In that way, their success would have been remembered deeply. Time to throw away lots of junk items too. In the past, I used to think that they served as sentimental items to be remembered as the years go by. (ahh..even small pieces of paper and phamplets) Yet, I think I have accumulated too much of them such that dust has gathered. Now, it's time for selective choosing of what remains and what has to leave. After the whole clean-up, the rubbish took up around 4 black garbage bags (the huge size kind) and I was indeed very amazed by my own laziness throughout these 2 years where worksheets have been left rampant. And now, the room looks spick and span and I've resorted to covering up some ugly holes on the wall with posters..haha. =) Hmm..let's hope it stays that way and I shall do another major clean-up after "A" levels. That's the most enjoyable time when I simply transfer all used textbooks and files over to my brother's room. Heh. I got rather excited while flipping through the Straits Times Classified this morning. Looks like there are lots of prospective part-time jobs available after As. Jobs like chambermaids at Meritus Mandarin, customer service assistants and tutoring jobs really appeal. Guess I'm thinking too much.. Block Test isn't over and I'm thinking of what to do after "A"s. Haha.
