I stayed in school till 6pm today. Everyone was busy preparing for the Meet-the-parents' session in the late evening. People rush in and out of the staff room..I guess I would really miss the staff. :X
Yesterday had a pizza party with 1/2..The delivery "boy" was caught in the rain & I was so amazed he didn't skid and fall on the road! He was late, as expected. My hungry ghosts in white were practically floating around with me at the porch area. :) Yet, the rain didn't cause our food to be soggy! Hmmm...then those hungry ghosts grabbed the food and rushed to the canteen. Within moments of my "opening speech", empty pizza boxes were left stranded pathetically on the canteen tables. We took a class photo (will upload the pics later on) & it was really memorable. Too bad Shirley wasn't around. :( Individual photos were fuN as we tried many different poses! Ha. Really touched when I received Zi Jian and Chai Hao's cactus. It says: "May u persevere in harsh conditions, just like how cactus survive in deserts."
1/2, I really like the chopsticks that u guys decorated! :) Remember that 40 chopsticks unite and will remain strong forever..Thanks so much! Not to forget the little gifts from some of u :D Most prominent e.g would be the "too-too" from that chocolate, bballer, cbz and viv. :) It really matched my little pacifier on my hp eh? ;)
Can't believe I became so emotional in 1/8. It was already the last lesson and yet they were still chatty. :X Actually if I were a student, I can't stop myself from opening my mouth too. Moreover, I was teaching POETRY. Can u believe it. This is the class that I face every single day, rain or shine. It totally drained my energy away. (Ms Lau says I should EAT more to conserve energy..hmm..)I guess I will miss the times when they made me so angry, esp during IPW lessons. sigh. I will miss them when they say "I'm sorry teacher" although I know they've never meant it.
I suppose this closes a chapter of my life. Some memories, when kept short, are much sweeter. But I've truly learnt and experienced a lot these 5 months. Thank You to all who made a difference to my life there. I really appreciate it. I must really thank XY & XL for being such supportive buddies. Without U, I would never have made it so far.

It's not that chocolates are a substitute for love. Love is a substitute for chocolate. Chocolate is, let's face it, far more reliable than a man. ~Miranda Ingram
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!
"There are two kinds of people in the world. Those who love chocolate, and communists."
